Born and raised in Verona, I played with cameras ever since I was a kid.
Fascinated by nature and geometry I’ve always been lured by visual arts and their ability to narrate the connections between human beings and the environment they live in.
Anyway, the reason why I chose photography was more selfish. I was watching beautiful things and wanted to steal them and keep’em for myself, actually, like magpies do.
Time and curiosity made the rest.
They helped me understand that what was precious to me could be the same to others and so I learnt to approach the subjects in a sympathetic way, smiling instead of trying to hide behind the camera.
Trying to be openhearted led me to be openminded too.
Travelling, studying, practicing, listening and discussing with friends and teachers I learnt the importance of observing things from different angles. With humility, I became proud of my point of view instead of being jealous.
I just tell stories.
Till now that’s all, tomorrow never knows.
